
Ingredients:
• 1 – ridge gourd.
• 1 tbsp – urad dal.
• 1 tsp – Channa dal.
• 3 or 4 – dry red chillies.
• Asafoetida, a pinch.
• 1 tbsp – Tamarind juice.
• Salt.
• oil.
Method:
- Peel the ridge gourd and slice. Heat oil, add urad dal, channa dal, red chillies, asafoetida and fry.
- Add the ridge gourd slices, salt, and fry till soft. Allow to cool.
- Grind coarsely with tamarind extract.
