
Ingredients:
• Besan – 300 g
• Sugar – 250 g
• Enough Milk to soak the Sugar + 1 cup
• Ghee – 75 ml
• Oil – 75 ml
• Milk – 1 cup
• Green Cardamom powder – 3-4 g
• Raisin – 10-15
• Desiccated Coconut and Almonds for garnishing
Method:
- Pour the sugar in a vessel.
- Add enough milk so that it soaks the sugar completely; keep aside for about one hour.
- Heat the oil and ghee. When the oil starts to smoke, add the besan and fry until it turns almost pinkish.
- Add 1 cup of milk and fry for some more time.
- Stir the sugar and milk kept in the vessel and add to the besan mix.
- Cook for a little while and turn off the flame.
- Add the green cardamom powder and raisins, and keep aside for about 5 mins.
- Pour on to a greased plate and allow the mixture to set.
- Cut into pieces.
- Garnish with desiccated coconut and almonds pieces.
