Ingredients:

• Chicken – 1/2 kg
• Onion – 1
• Tomato – 1
• pepper Corn – 1 tbsp.
• Ginger – 1 inch piece.
• Garlic – 4 flakes.
• Red Chillies – 4.
• Dhaniya powder – 1/2 tsp.
• Cinnamon – 1 pieces.
• Clove – 2.
• Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp -.
• Curry leaves chopped – 1 tbsp.
• Coriander leaves chopped – 1 tbsp.
• oil – 1/4 cup.
• Salt to taste.

Method:

  1. Clean and cut chicken into medium pieces.
  2. Grind separately tomatoes and onion and keep aside.
  3. Grind pepper corn, garlic, ginger, dhaniya, into fine paste.
  4. Marinate chicken with the ground masala for 45 mins to 1 hr adding salt.
  5. Pressure cook the chicken till it is 3/4 cooked.
  6. Heat oil in a kadai. Season with crushed spices.
  7. Add ground onion and saute till golden brown.
  8. Add tomato puree and cook till it becomes pulpy.
  9. Then add cooked chicken in it and cook till the gravy becomes thick.
  10. Garnish with chopped curry and coriander leaves.
  11. Serve hot with any kind of variety rice or Indian breads.
