Ingredients:

• 500 g – big Prawns
• 3 Onions (finely chopped)
• 2 big Tomatoes (finely chopped)
• 1 tbsp – crushed ginger-garlic
• 2 Green chillies (finely chopped)
• 2.5 tsp – coriander powder
• 1.5 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• ½ tsp – Turmeric powder
• finely chopped Coriander leaves (to garnish)
• 4 tbsp – oil
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Clean, devein and wash the prawns well.
  2. Heat oil in a non-stick kadai and saute the onions on a medium flame till golden.
  3. Add tomatoes, salt green chillies and crushed ginger-garlic.
  4. Cook on a low flame till the tomatoes are tender.
  5. Add coriander powder, red chilli powder and turmeric powder.
  6. Cook till oil separates. Add prawns and little water.
  7. Cook on a low flame till the prawns are done.
  8. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with hot rotis.
