Ingredients:

• 250 ml – Milk
• 175 g – flour
• 70 g – Butter
• 55 g – Sugar
• 50 ml – water
• 1 tbsp – golden syrup
• 3 tsps – baking powder
• 25 g – Raisins
• a pinch – salt

Method:

  1. Beat together butter and sugar until creamy.
  2. Add the golden syrup, sifted flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. Gradually add the milk and water.
  4. Mix the raisins.
  5. Stir well and pour it into a greased patty tins using spoons.
  6. Bake at 190 degree C for 20-25 mins.
