Ingredients:

• 1 medium sized – Beetroot
• 2 – 3 – Green chillies
• 1 handful – Coriander leaves
• 1/4 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1 pinch – Asafoetida
• 1/2 – Lemon
• Salt as per taste
• 1 tsp – Oil

Method:

  1. Remove the skin and grate the beetroot.
  2. Heat oil and add mustard seeds and asafoetida and let it splutter.
  3. Coarsely grind the other ingredients and mix it with the mustard seeds mix and add grated beetroot.
  4. Mix well and add lime juice.
  5. Serve with chapatti, idli, dosa or different types of rice.
