
Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Wheat flour
• 3 – carrots, finely grated
• 5 tsp – oil
• 3 tsp – Butter
• 3 tsp – curds
• salt to taste
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 tsp – besan
• 2 – green chilli, finely chopped
• Coriander leaves
• 2 – garlic, small
• 1/2 tsp – Jeera powder
• 1/2 tsp – masala powder
• 1 – Red Chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Lemon juice extract
Method:
- Heat 3 tsp oil in the frying pan.
- Add finely grated carrot in the pan and fry till it becomes soft.
- Keep the carrot aside and now heat 2 tsp of oil in the pan.
- Add finely chopped coriander leaves, green chilli, garlic, jeera powder, masala powder, turmeric powder and red chilli powder and fry for a minute.
- In a bowl, take 2 cups of wheat flour, 2 tsp besan with 3 tsp of curds and butter.
- Now add carrot and masala to the bowl with salt to taste and lemon extract and knead to a dough by adding warm water if required.
- Make small lemon-sized balls out of the dough and roll them out in to parathas.
- Put the rolled parathas one by one on the pre-heated pan and roast them by applying oil/butter on both the sides.
