Ingredients:
• 4 – left over chapattis
• 1 to 1.5 cup – left over yellow dal
• 2 tbsp – Tomato puree
• Ghee to serve
• Coriander leaves to garnish
Method:
- Cut the chapattis into small diamond shaped pieces, using a pair of scissors.
- Add a cup of water and tomato puree to dal.
- Add a little salt and heat the dal till it begins to boil.
- Add the chapatti pieces and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Pour into serving bowls and pour some ghee on top.
- Serve garnished with coriander leaves.
