Ingredients:
• 100 g – Almonds (badam)
• 1/2 litre – Milk
• 150 g – Sugar
• 1/2 litre – boiled and chilled Milk
Method:
- Soak almonds in hot water for an hour.
- Peel and grind it to form a smooth paste.
- Add 1/2 litre of milk and mix well. Add sugar to it.
- Boil the mixture till thick (very thick).
- Simmer it so that the mixture doesn’t spill out and continue boiling till it becomes really thick.
- It should take around 30 minutes.
- Stir it, as it’s boiling.
- Remove and cool it. Then, refrigerate it.
- Then, add chilled milk with the badam mixture and blend it for a while.
- Soak saffron in hot milk.
- Add it to the mixture and mix well.
- Also add rose water and badam essence for additional flavour.
