
Ingredients:
• Rice flour – 1 cup
• Maida – 1 cup
• Rava (Sooji) – 1 cup
• Red Chilli powder -2 tsps
• Onions – 2
• Salt as needed
• Oil – 2 tsp for the dough and to deep fry the vadas
Method:
- In a bowl mix rice flour, maida, sooji.
- Add red chilli powder, chopped onions and salt as needed.
- Add 2 tsps of hot oil.
- Add water and make it into a tight dough.
- Start heating oil in a pan.
- Make small balls of the dough.
- Take a small plastic sheet and pat the balls till it’s flat and round.
- Deep fry the flattened dough in the oil till golden brown.
- Take out the vada from the pan, drain on absorbent paper and serve with ketchup.
