Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Ragi/Finger millet
• 1/2 cup – Channa dal
• 1/4 cup – Toor Dal
• 1/2 cup – Yellow split moong dal
• 1/4 cup – Urad Dal
• 3 – Dry Red Chillies
• 1/2 tsp – Fennel seeds
• Salt – to taste

Method:

  1. Soak the ragi along with all dals for at least 4 hours.
  2. Grind the soaked dals and ragi with dry red chillies and fennel seeds after adding enough water and salt into a slightly coarse paste.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan.
  4. Pour a ladle of the ragi paruppu adai batter, drizzle the oil and cook on both sides until the adai gets well cooked.
  5. Serve this nutritious paruppu dosai with coconut chutney.
