Ingredients:
• 1 cup – cooked red kidney beans, soaked and pressure cooked
• 1cup – sweet potato, cooked and smashed
• 1 – onion, chopped
• 1/4 tsp – Fennel seed powder
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 4 – Curry leaves
• Salt to taste
• 1/4 cup – bread crumbs
• 2 tbsp – Corn flour
• Oil as required
Method:
- Saute onion in oil until they turn translucent.
- Smash the cooked red kidney beans coarsely and add the cooked onions, mix well.
- Then add red chilli powder, fennel seed powder, curry leaves, garam masala powder and salt.
- Add this to the cooked sweet potato pieces, mix well and turn them as dough.
- Make 10-12 balls and flatten it to a patty.
- Add water to the corn flour to make a white paste.
- Dip each patty in white sauce and roll it evenly in bread crumbs, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Shallow fry both sides of patty till golden brown.
- Serve hot.
