
Ingredients:
• 1 – medium raw Jackfruit
• 1 tbsp – Bengal Gram flour (besan)
• 1 – medium onion, chopped
• 6 – green chillies, chopped
• 1 bunch – coriander leaves, chopped
• 1 bunch – Mint leaves, chopped
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp Red Chilli powder
• Salt to taste
• Oil for frying
Method:
- Remove the skin of the jackfruit and cut it into large pieces.
- Boil the pieces with salt and turmeric powder for 10 mins.
- Remove the boiled pieces and smash them.
- Add the remaining ingredients (except oil) and mix well. Knead into a soft dough using water.
- Divide into balls, flatten into rounds and fry in oil.
- Serve hot with tomato sauce.
