Ingredients:

• 400 g semolina (rava)
• 500 g mava (khoya)
• 500 g Brown sugar
• 200 g desiccated Coconut
• 1 tsp powdered Cardamoms
• 1/2 cup mixed nuts
• Desiccated Coconut for rolling
• A few drops of red food colour

Method:

  1. Combine the semolina and khoya in a pressure cooker and pressure cook till you hear 2 whistles.
  2. While still warm, rub the mixture using your palms so that no lumps remain.
  3. When completely cold, add the sugar, coconut and nuts and cardamom powder and mix well.
  4. Divide the mixture into small laddoos and roll them in coconut.
  5. Apply the dot of red colour.
  6. Serve.
