Ingredients:

• 2 cups – shrimp
• 2 – onions, chopped
• 2 – Garlic flakes, ground
• 1 tbsp – Tomato puree
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 tbsp – oil
• salt to taste
• Black pepper powder to taste

Method:

  1. Peel and de-vein the shrimp.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add onions and saute till golden brown.
  3. Add garlic paste and stir for 2 mins.
  4. Add shrimp and fry till they turn pinkish.
  5. Add turmeric powder, salt, pepper powder and tomato puree.
  6. Add 4 cups of water and simmer for 45 mins.
  7. Add more water if required.
  8. Serve hot.
