Ingredients:
• 1 cup (8 oz) – Maida
• 1 cup – Sugar
• 1/4th cup (2oz) – Cocoa Powder
• 2 tsp – Baking powder
• 1/2 cup (100 ml) – Pepsi (or) Aerated Cola (or) Aerated Soda
• 3 – Egg
• 100 ml – Vegetable Oil
• 2 tsp – vanilla essence
• 1 packet (250g) – Cream
• 2 tsp – Wine
• 1 can – Cherry, fresh (or) can
• 1 bar – Dairy Milk Chocolate
Method:
- Beat the eggs and mix in the powdered sugar.
- Sieve the maida with baking powder.
- Mix the flour with the egg and sugar, followed by cocoa, oil, vanilla essence and wine. Lastly add Pepsi.
- Pre-heat the oven to 160 degrees C and bake the mixture in a greased dish. The temperature should then be slowly reduced 120 and then finally to the minimum.
- Bake the two cakes separately.
- After cooling, pour the sugar syrup in the cherry tin over one cake, then spread the cream (after mixing it with sugar) over it.
- Top the cake with the second one and repeat the process.
- Add grated chocolate over the cream and arrange cherries on it.
