
Ingredients:
• 1 cup Gram Flour
• 1 cup Rice Flour
• 1 – Onion
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• Salt
• 2 tbsps – Yoghurt (curd)
• Oil
Method:
- Mix both flours by sieving together with salt and chilli powder.
- Cut onions into small pieces.
- Add water a little at a time to make a not-too-thin batter. Add yogurt.
- Heat a thick dosa griddle or non-stick flat pan (tawa).
- Pour a ladleful of batter in centre and spread thinly like pancake.
- When batter has cooked a bit, drizzle some fat over it.
- Allow bottom to become golden and remove with a sharp edged spatula.
- Roll or fold in half. Do not press down.
- Serve hot with chutney, ketchup or relish.
- Repeat as required for remaining batter.
