Ingredients:

• Potato – 1/4 kg
• Chilli powder – 2 tbsp
• Refined oil – 2 tbsp
• salt – to taste
• Channa dal – 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Cut the potatoes into small pieces and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add some mustard seeds.
  3. Once they splutter, add channa dal and fry till light brown. Add chilli powder.
  4. Add potatoes and stir.
  5. When the potatoes are half- cooked, add salt and cook till crisp.
