Ingredients:
• Prawns – 250 gm
• chopped onions, large – 1
• diced capsicum, large – 1
• Egg – 1
• diced tomato, medium – 2
• Corn paste – 2 tbsp
• Corn paste dissolved in water – 2 tbsp
• chilli powder – 1 tsp
• Tomato sauce – 1/2 cup
• Sugar – 4 tbsp
• Vinegar – 4 tbsp
• pepper – 2 grinds/ 1 tsp
• oil as required
• salt to taste
Method:
- Wash and clean the prawns. Mix egg, salt, pepper and corn paste. Dip the prawns in the batter and fry them. Keep aside.
- Put oil in a pan. Fry the onions. Take them out.
- Fry the capsicum a little. Add the tomato sauce, vinegar, sugar, chilli powder and little corn paste mixed with water.
- Let the sauce simmer till it becomes thick.
- Add the fried prawns, onions and tomatoes.
- Mix well for 2 mins.
- Serve hot with rice.
