
Ingredients:
• Coconut – 1
• Onions (medium sized) – 2 or 3
• Green chillies – 2 or 3
• Potatoes (medium sized) – 2
• Carrot (medium sized) – 1
• Garlic – 1 or 2 Cloves finely minced
• Ginger powder or finely minced Ginger – 1/2 tsp.
• Lime (squeezed) – 1
• Chopped coriander for garnishing
Method:
- Extract milk 3 times.
- Keep aside the first extracted milk.
- Mix together the second and third portions.
- Splutter mustard seed and gram dal and onions, chillies ginger and garlic.
- Fry till the onions are done.
- Then add potatoes, and carrots saute them for a while. Add the second and third portion of the coconut milk.
- When the vegetables are cooked, add salt and the first portion of coconut milk.
- After removing from fire add the squeezed lemon and chopped coriander.
- Serve hot.
