Ingredients:

• 1 cup – soybean chunks
• 1/2 cup – Green peas
• 1 – boiled and mashed Potato
• 1/4 tsp – Haldi
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Dhania Jeera powder
• A little grated Coconut
• salt to taste
• 2 tbsp – oil

Method:

  1. Soak the soybean chunks in hot water for about 10 minutes.
  2. Drain and rinse the chunks well.
  3. Heat oil in a pan on medium flame. Add the chilli powder.
  4. When you see bubbles, add the soybean chunks and the peas. Stir.
  5. Then add in haldi and dhania-jeera powder and salt.
  6. Add some water. Add in the potato and the coconut.
  7. Cook for 15 -20 minutes ensuring there is sufficient water for the gravy.
