Ingredients:

• 2 medium pizza base (200 gms. each)
• For Spread:
• 100 gms – Tomatoes
• 4 Garlic Cloves
• a dash pepper
• 1 tsp – oil
• For Topping:
• 50 gms – soya chunks
• 2 medium sized Capsicum
• 3 medium sized Tomatoes
• 2 medium Onion
• 1 tsp – ginger-garlic paste
• 2 tsp – soya sauce
• 2 tsp – Maida
• 1 tsp – Corn flour
• 1 tsp – pepper
• 1 tsp – Vinegar
• 1 tsp – salt
• oil for deep frying

Method:

  1. For spread:
  2. Blanch the tomatoes, peel and blend.
  3. Heat the oil, fry garlic paste, and add the tomato pulp and seasoning.
  4. Cook till it becomes a thick paste.
  5. For topping:
  6. Soak soya chunks in water for 5-10 mins. Dice capsicum, onion and tomatoes.
  7. Prepare a batter for the chunks by mixing maida, corn flour with salt, pepper and soya sauce.
  8. Dip chunks in this batter and deep fry in oil and keep them aside (one can skip this step to make very low calorie chunks).
  9. Take a pan, put some oil, add ginger-garlic paste, onion and saute them.
  10. Add chillies, tomatoes and cook for a minute.
  11. Add the chunks to it with soya sauce, chilli sauce, pepper, vinegar and salt. Cook for a minute.
  12. Spread the paste over the pizza base and top with the above topping.
  13. Bake in a very hot oven at 240 C for 10 mins. till crisp.
  14. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
