Ingredients:
• 250 g – any sprouts (moong dal/broccoli/alfalfa/channa)
• 1/2 loaf – bread
• salt to taste
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 2 – Green chillies
• 1 – onion, small
• oil for frying
• water
Method:
- Gently separate the sprouts with your fingertips in a container.
- Now, cut the green chillies, onion and mix these well with sprouts (chillies/chillies powder/onion/salt).
- Cut the sides of bread and keep aside.
- Heat oil for frying in a kadai.
- Dip bread in a bowl of water for a second. Take out and fill a little mixture of sprouts and roll (not like a ball but a little elongated).
- Now, fry these but not in very hot oil. Take out when light brown.
- Serve hot with chutney/sauce.
