Ingredients:

• Sprouted green gram – 1/2 cup
• Green chillies – 1 tsp, minced
• Ginger – 1 tsp, minced
• Idle batter – 3 to 4 cups
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Steam the sprouts till soft.
  2. Mix with chilli, ginger and salt. Cool and add to the idle batter.
  3. Pour in greased idly moulds and steam for 15 minutes.
  4. Serve hot with chutney and sambar.
