Ingredients:
• 4 eggs
• 150 gms – Sugar
• 150 gms – all purpose flour
• 2 tbsp – coarsely chopped Walnuts
• 2 tbsp – coarsely chopped Dates
Method:
- Whip eggs until frothy. Add half of the sugar and whip again until fluffy.
- Add the remaining sugar and whip for 10 minutes.
- Sift flour and fold into egg mixture.
- Grease a 9-inch (22 cm) square pan and fold in half of the batter.
- Sprinkle over with half of the walnuts, dates, and pour the rest of the batter over this layer.
- Sprinkle over with the remaining walnuts and dates.
- Steam for 20 minutes over high heat. Cut into small squares to serve.
