Ingredients:
• 1.5 litres – Milk
• 100 g – Curd, beaten
• 7-8 tbsp – Sugar (or to taste)
• 2 tbsp – Strawberry syrup
• 2 tbsp – Strawberry jam
Method:
- Boil milk in a large vessel and add the beaten curd. When the milk curdles, hang it in a muslin cloth and leave to drain for 20 mins.
- Press out the excess water and empty the chenna into a vessel.
- Add the strawberry syrup to the chenna and mix well.
- Add sugar and mash well with your hands.
- Now make medium sized balls with the mixture and flatten it to a round/oval shape.
- Prick the centre with a fork and put strawberry jam.
