Ingredients:

• 1.5 litres – Milk
• 100 g – Curd, beaten
• 7-8 tbsp – Sugar (or to taste)
• 2 tbsp – Strawberry syrup
• 2 tbsp – Strawberry jam

Method:

  1. Boil milk in a large vessel and add the beaten curd. When the milk curdles, hang it in a muslin cloth and leave to drain for 20 mins.
  2. Press out the excess water and empty the chenna into a vessel.
  3. Add the strawberry syrup to the chenna and mix well.
  4. Add sugar and mash well with your hands.
  5. Now make medium sized balls with the mixture and flatten it to a round/oval shape.
  6. Prick the centre with a fork and put strawberry jam.
