Ingredients:
• 4 cups- Wheat flour (atta)
• Salt (depending upon taste)
• 2 Potatoes
• 5-6 shredded florets of Cauliflower
• 3-4 chopped Green chillies
• few pieces – Shredded Ginger
• 5 – Chopped Coriander leaves
• Water
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Coriander powder
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1/2 tsp – Amchur powder
• few tsps – Vegetable oil
• Butter – According to taste
Method:
- Before preparation: Sieve wheat flour with salt. Add water to it, mix it very well and make a smooth dough.
- For aloo paratha:
- Boil potatoes in a microwave or in a pressure cooker.
- Mash boiled potatoes with a potato masher.
- Add red chilli powder, salt, garam masala, coriander powder, amchur powder, chopped coriander leaves.
- For gobi paratha:
- Shred cauliflower and put in a pressure cooker till you hear a whistle.
- Add shredded ginger, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala, amchur powder, green chillies and coriander leaves.
- Method:
- Make small rolls of dough.
- Roll it like chapatti, put some mashed potato mixture in it and fold it towards the centre till the edges meet.
- Seal the edges by pressing the chapatti.
- Now again roll it like a chapatti (around 8 inches in diameter).
- Repeat the process with gobi also.
- Pre-heat tawa on a high flame.
- Apply some oil on the tava and put aloo/gobi paratha.
- Cook it on both the sides with oil at medium-high flame.
- Repeat step 2-3 to make more parathas.
- Before serving put some butter on it.
- Serve it hot with green chutney and tea.
