Ingredients:

• 5-6 Capsicums (bell peppers) washed and slit in the middle
• 1 kg – mince lamb (meat)
• 1 medium onion, chopped
• 2 tsp – ginger& Garlic paste
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• Red Chilli powder and salt according to taste
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric
• 3 large tbsp – desiccated Coconut powder
• Oil for cooking

Method:

  1. In a pressure cooker, heat oil, add onion and fry till brown.
  2. Add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder and fry for a few seconds.
  3. Add mince meat, salt, red chilli powder and fry for a few minutes.
  4. Then add desiccated coconut, cover and cook upto 3 whistles.
  5. When pressure comes down open lid, add garam masla make sure there is no water and the mince meat is dry.
  6. Blend in a blender coarsely and should not be too smooth.
  7. Then stuff the slit capsicum with the mince mixture and rest keep aside.
  8. Take a large pan, add 3-4 tbsps oil and shallow fry the capsicums till tender.
  9. Then add the rest of the mince mixture and stir making sure not to split the peppers.
  10. Serve hot with rice or rotis.
