Ingredients:
• 5-6 Capsicums (bell peppers) washed and slit in the middle
• 1 kg – mince lamb (meat)
• 1 medium onion, chopped
• 2 tsp – ginger& Garlic paste
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• Red Chilli powder and salt according to taste
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric
• 3 large tbsp – desiccated Coconut powder
• Oil for cooking
Method:
- In a pressure cooker, heat oil, add onion and fry till brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder and fry for a few seconds.
- Add mince meat, salt, red chilli powder and fry for a few minutes.
- Then add desiccated coconut, cover and cook upto 3 whistles.
- When pressure comes down open lid, add garam masla make sure there is no water and the mince meat is dry.
- Blend in a blender coarsely and should not be too smooth.
- Then stuff the slit capsicum with the mince mixture and rest keep aside.
- Take a large pan, add 3-4 tbsps oil and shallow fry the capsicums till tender.
- Then add the rest of the mince mixture and stir making sure not to split the peppers.
- Serve hot with rice or rotis.
