Ingredients:

• 1 kg – husked black gram (urad) dal
• 1/2 kg – Rice flour
• 1/2 kg – Jaggery
• 1/2 kg (approx) – Ghee

Method:

  1. Dry roast the dal till golden brown. Cool and grind into coarse (like fine sand) powder.
  2. Dry roast the rice flour till pale brown.
  3. Mix both these together.
  4. Grate the jaggery and add to the flour mixture.
  5. Melt the ghee. Add little at a time, mixing well, till the mixture holds together.
  6. Shape into laddoos.
