Ingredients:
• Aval – 1 cup
• Jaggery – 3/4 cup
• Coconut (cut into small pieces) – 1/4 cup
• Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp
• Ghee – 2 tsp
• Water as required
Method:
- Heat water, put the jaggery in it and boil for 5-10 minutes.
- Filter the jaggery liquid.
- In a bowl, put the aval and pour the jaggery liquid till the level of aval.
- Let it soak for 5-10 minutes.
- Fry the coconut pieces in ghee.
- Add fried coconut pieces, ardamom powder to the soaked aval and mix gently.
