Ingredients:

• minced Meat – 1/2 kg
• sweet Corn kernels – 350 gm
• grated Coconut – 1/2 cup
• white Poppy Seeds (Khus Khus) – 2 tbsp
• Curd – 1 cup
• Milk – 1 cup
• Ghee – 2 tbsp
• Onion – 1/2 cup, sliced
• Garlic – 1 tsp, minced
• Ginger – 1 tsp, minced
• chilli powder – 2 tsp
• Mint leaves – 2 tbsp
• Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
• Lime – 1
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Pressure cook minced meat with sweet corn, salt and about 1 cup of water for 15 minutes.
  2. Roast coconut and poppy seeds till light brown.
  3. Cool and grind to a paste.
  4. Heat Ghee and fry onions till golden brown.
  5. Add coconut paste and chilli powder. Fry till fragrant.
  6. Add curd and simmer till oil floats on top.
  7. Add the meat and corn mixture, simmer for few minutes.
  8. Add milk and simmer till the mixture thickens to a semi-solid consistency.
  9. Serve garnished with mint, coriander and slices of lime.
