Ingredients:
• 1 Cup- Rice
• 1 Cup- Toor Dal
• 1/2 Cup- Finely grated Coconut
• 4- Green chillies
• Salt to taste
• Oil
Method:
- Soak equal quantities of rice and tuvar dal in water for about 5 hours.
- Grind them to a paste, fine enough to make the dose batter.
- Grind the chillies and the coconut together and add this paste to the dose batter.
- Add salt to taste.
- Keep for 4 to 5 hours.
- Then make dose on a hot tawa greased with oil. Serve with coriander coconut chutney or any chutney or with saagu (a wet curry).
