Ingredients:

• 2 cups – Channa dal (soaked for 2 hrs)
• 1 cup – Banana Blossom (chopped finely)
• 1 Onion (chopped)
• 2 Green chillies (chopped)
• 1 tsp – Fennel seeds
• 1 tsp – Ginger(grated)
• Curry leaves
• Salt
• Oil

Method:

  1. Grind the channa dal with fennel seeds as a coarse paste.
  2. Grind the chopped banana blossom as fine paste.
  3. Mix together the ground channa dal and banana blossom in a large bowl, add the chopped onions, chopped green chillies, grated ginger, salt, curry leaves to it. Mix everything well.
  4. Meanwhile heat the oil, and drop small balls of dough into it. Fry until they turn golden brown.
