Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Channa dal (soaked for 2 hrs)
• 1 cup – Banana Blossom (chopped finely)
• 1 Onion (chopped)
• 2 Green chillies (chopped)
• 1 tsp – Fennel seeds
• 1 tsp – Ginger(grated)
• Curry leaves
• Salt
• Oil
Method:
- Grind the channa dal with fennel seeds as a coarse paste.
- Grind the chopped banana blossom as fine paste.
- Mix together the ground channa dal and banana blossom in a large bowl, add the chopped onions, chopped green chillies, grated ginger, salt, curry leaves to it. Mix everything well.
- Meanwhile heat the oil, and drop small balls of dough into it. Fry until they turn golden brown.
