Ingredients:

• 1 head – Broccoli
• Green chillies to taste (finely chopped)
• 1 small Onion (finely chopped)
• Few Coriander leaves (chopped)
• 1 tbsp – Sesame seeds
• 1 tsp – Sugar
• Oil for frying
• Salt to taste
• 2 cups – Wheat flour
• 1/2 cup – Besan
• 1/2 tbsp – Whole Jeera
• 2 tbsp – Yogurt

Method:

  1. Wash and place chopped broccoli in a plastic bag. Put it in a microwave oven and cook for 5 minutes. Let it cool.
  2. Add all the other ingredients and knead a stiff dough using 1.5 tbsp. of oil as shortening.
  3. Roll out parathas (about 5-6″ in diameter) and shallow fry them until golden on both sides.
  4. Serve hot with achaar, yogurt, or tomato ketchup.
