Ingredients:

• 4 Bread slices
• 2 Onions, medium sized
• 1 Carrot, medium sized
• 1 small bunch coriander
• 1 Green chilli
• 1 pinch Jeera
• 1 tsp cooking oil
• A few drops of Lemon juice
• A pinch of Turmeric and chilli powder
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Chop the onions finely. Grate the carrots, coriander and chilli..
  2. Heat a pan with a tsp of cooking oil and fry the jeera seeds for a while.
  3. Add the onion and saute for a few minutes.
  4. Add grated carrot and chilli to this mixture.
  5. Add salt, turmeric powder and allow the mixture to cook for a few minutes, keeping the pan covered.
  6. After it is cooked, garnish with coriander leaves and allow the mixture to cool.
  7. Place about a tablespoon of mixture in between two bread slices and toast well on both sides.
