
Ingredients:
• For dough:
• 2 cups – Maida
• 2 tbsps – sooji
• 4 tbsps – Ghee
• Water
• 15 ml – Milk
• For frying:
• 1 – cup oil
• For filling:
• 1.5 cups – Jaggery
• 1 cup – Chana Dalia powder
• 1 cup – dry Coconut powder
• Cashewnuts and dry Grapes – a few
• Cardamom powder
Method:
- Prepare a slightly stiff dough with the above ingredients.
- Keep it aside for 1 hour.
- Grind chana dalia powder, jaggery, coconut powder finely and add cashwenuts, grapes and elaichi powder and mix well.
- Make small balls of dough and roll them into elliptical shapes.
- Put 1 tbsp spoon of mixture along the centre.
- Apply milk on the sides and stick the edges.
- Heat oil in pan and deep fry.
