Ingredients:
• 2 cups – fresh corn kernels
• 1 inch – ginger
• 5 to 6 cloves – garlic
• 2 to 3 – green chillies
• Coriander leaves
• Curry leaves
• 2 tsp – coriander seeds
• 1 tsp – cumin seeds
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – turmeric powder
• 2/3 tsp – plain flour
• Oil to deep fry
Method:
- Take a medium size bowl, mix 2 cups of fresh corn kernels with ginger, garlic, green chillies, coriander seeds and cumin seeds and grind them.
- Do not make a fine paste but grind roughly.
- Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, plain flour, salt to taste and mix well.
- Heat oil, then add 1 tbsp hot oil to the mixture, add finely chopped coriander leaves and curry leaves in the above mixture.
- Mix well and fry pakodas of medium shape till light brown.
- Serve hot with pudina chutney or tomato sauce.
