
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – green gram dal
• 2 cups – Sugar
• 1 cup – Ghee
• 1 cup – Milk
• 1 tbsp – all-purpose flour, golden fried in Ghee
• 10 – cashew nuts, golden fried in Ghee
• 1 pinch – Nutmeg
Method:
- Pressure cook the dal in 1 cup milk and 1 cup water.
- Cool it. Mash the dal.
- In a tawa, put sugar with a little water.
- Cook till 2-thread consistency.
- Add the mashed dal and stir continuously.
- Add ghee while stirring.
- When it becomes like dough (i.e. it doesn’t stick to the vessel), add the fried flour, fried cashew nuts and a pinch of nutmeg powder.
- Put on a greased plate and cut into pieces.
