Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg – Rava/Sooji/ semolina
• 3 cups – Idli rava
• 1/2 kg – Urad Dal
• Pepper powder
• Chilli powder
• Salt

Method:

  1. Soak idli rava.
  2. Soak the dal for 2 to 3 hours.
  3. Finely grind dal and mix with rava and keep overnight.
  4. Grease thali, add salt to the thick mixture, sprinkle chilli and pepper powder and steam (in a pressure pan).
