Ingredients:
• 4 – small sized burger rolls
• 1 – medium sized cucumber, sliced
• 4 – salad tomatoes, sliced
• 1 tbsp – jalapeno pepper, chopped finely
• 8 – leaves of Lettuce
• 100 g – Butter
• 100 g – cheese spread
• For The Cutlet
• 100 g – carrots, chopped and boiled
• 100 g – beans chopped and boiled
• 100 g – peas, boiled
• 150 g – potatoes, boiled, peeled, mashed
• 1 – Lemon
• 4 – Green chillies finely chopped
• 1/2 tsp – pepper powder
• 2 tbsp – all-purpose flour
• 4 tbsp – bread crumbs
• Oil
• Salt
Method:
- For the veg cutlet:
- Mix carrots, beans, peas, green chilli, potatoes with salt, pepper powder, lemon juice.
- Mix well and divide into balls.
- Sprinkle all-purpose flour on the balls and flatten with your palm to form cutlets.
- Roll them in bread crumbs and fry both sides till dark brown in colour.
- For the burger:
- Apply butter to burger rolls and fry for 5 seconds.
- On the bottom slice of burger roll, apply cheese spread, 1 leaf of lettuce, cucumber slice, tomato slice, the cutlet, followed by cucumber and tomato, few jalapeno peppers and lastly, another lettuce leaf.
- Apply cheesespread to the underside of the top burger slice. Place on the assembled burger filling. Pin with tooth pick.
- Repeat the same for the rest 3 burger rolls and serve with tomato ketchup.
