Ingredients:

• 3 cups – coconut, grated
• 2 cups – Sugar
• 1/4 cup – Milk
• Pinch of Saffron
• 1/2 small tsp. white Cardamom powder.

Method:

  1. Soak the saffron in warm milk for 5 mins.
  2. Add the sugar in the saffron and heat the mixture.
  3. When the sugar dissolves, reduce the heat.
  4. Add the cardamom powder and the grated coconut and cook till the mixture thickens.
  5. Remove from heat and spread on a greased tray and pat evenly.
  6. Let it cool.
  7. Cut into desired shapes.
