Ingredients:

• 2 cups – Chicken pieces
• 1/2 cup – onion, chopped
• 2 – tomatoes, chopped
• 1 tsp – Garlic paste
• 1 tsp – Ginger paste
• 1/2 tsp – Fennel seed powder
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp – pepper powder
• 2 tsp – cumin powder, roasted and powdered
• 2 tbsp – coriander leaves, chopped
• 1/2 tsp – Cumin seeds
• Salt
• Oil

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and splutter the cumin seeds
  2. Add the chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, ginger paste, garlic paste and stir everything for a while until the onions turn translucent and raw smells disappears.
  3. Add the chicken pieces with enough salt and stir for a while
  4. Now add the fennel seed powder, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, pepper powder, roasted cumin powder and stir again and simmer.
  5. Cook well until the chicken pieces get cooked and the oil separates.
  6. Add the chopped coriander leaves and remove from stove
  7. Serve hot.
