
Ingredients:
• For litti covering:
• 2 cups – aata (wheat flour)
• 1/4 cup – ghee/oil
• Salt
• Water
• For filling:
• 1 cup – sattu
• 2 – Green chillies finely chopped
• 1/4 tsp – Ginger paste
• Chopped fresh Cilantro
• 1/2 tsp – ajwain
• 1 tsp – amchur (dried Mango powder)
• 1 tbsp – Lemon juice
• 1 tbsp – Mustard oil
• 1/2 – stuffed Red Chilli pickle and 2 to 3 tbsp
• Achar oil
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Mix the ghee/oil, salt and aata together.
- Then add water and make it into a tight dough.
- Cover and keep aside.
- Make the filling by mixing all the ingredients for the filling together.
- Divide the dough into 7-8 equal sized balls.
- Take each ball and flatten a little with hands.
- Make a depression in the ball, put in the filling and close the ball.
- Now heat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and place the filled balls on a foil.
- When they turn golden brown, turn them over and cook.
- Serve hot.
