Ingredients:
• 1 cup – rava
• 1 cup – jaggery- finely chopped
• 1/2 cup – water
• 2 cup – Coconut Milk
• 1/4 cup – fresh Coconut scraped
• 1/2 tsp – Nutmeg powder
• 1/2 tsp – Cardamom powder
• 1 tbsp – ghee/brown Butter
• a few – Cashewnuts for decoration
• 1 pinch – salt
Method:
- Add butter to a pan and roast the rava until it is golden in colour. Then remove it from the heat.
- Add all the ingredients (except coconut and cashews) and mix them thoroughly and pressure cook it for 2 whistles.
- Grease a flat plate and pour the mixture.
- Press fresh coconut, cashews and make the surface even.
- Cut them into squares or diamonds when it cools down.
