Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Wheat flour
• 3/4-1 cup – Sugar
• 3/4 cup – Ghee
• 14-16 – finely sliced Almonds for garnishing
• 2.5 cups – water

Method:

  1. Boil the sugar in water until it dissolves.
  2. Heat the ghee lightly in a heavy-bottomed vessel.
  3. Add the wheat flour and saute until golden brown.
  4. Gradually add the sugar syrup, stirring continuously so that no lumps are formed.
  5. Cook until all the water has been absorbed.
  6. Garnish with almonds and serve.
