Ingredients:
• Asparagus – 1 bunch
• moong dal – 1/2 cup
• dry Red Chillies – 2 to 3
• Milk – 1/2 cup
• Coconut – 1/2 cup
• Jeera – 1 tsp
• oil – 1 tsp
• mustard – few
• Curry leaves – few
• Urad Dal – 1 tsp
• Cilantro – few
• salt as per taste
Method:
- Cut the asparagus into tiny pieces.
- Put the moong dal and the cut asparagus into a cooker with a little water. Pressure cook it for 3 whistles.
- Grind the coconut, chilly, jeera with a little water.
- Add the ground mixture to the cooked asparagus and also the milk.
- Let it boil for a few minutes and add salt.
- In a pan heat a little oil and add urad dal, mustard, curry leaves and asafoetida.
- Once the mustard splutters and the urad dal is brown, add it to the asparagus.
- Add finely chopped cilantro.
