
Ingredients:
• 10 – bajjis (assorted)
• 1 – onion, diced
• 2 or 3 – green chillies, slit lengthwise
• 2 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 1 – tomato, diced
• 1/4 tsp each – cumin seeds, Cloves and Cardamom
• Grind to a paste:
• 2 tsp – grated Coconut
• 1 tsp – split Chana dal
Method:
- Prepare potato, capsicum, onion bajjis and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a kadai. Temper cumin seeds, cloves and cardamom.
- Saute till the onions turn golden brown in colour.
- Add green chillies and ginger garlic paste.
- Add diced tomatoes and cook for a while.
- Spoon in the ground coconut paste and blend it well.
- Quarter the bajjis and add them.
- Simmer, add salt for taste.
- Once done, garnish with coriander leaves.
