Ingredients:

• 10 – bajjis (assorted)
• 1 – onion, diced
• 2 or 3 – green chillies, slit lengthwise
• 2 tsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 1 – tomato, diced
• 1/4 tsp each – cumin seeds, Cloves and Cardamom
• Grind to a paste:
• 2 tsp – grated Coconut
• 1 tsp – split Chana dal

Method:

  1. Prepare potato, capsicum, onion bajjis and keep it aside.
  2. Heat oil in a kadai. Temper cumin seeds, cloves and cardamom.
  3. Saute till the onions turn golden brown in colour.
  4. Add green chillies and ginger garlic paste.
  5. Add diced tomatoes and cook for a while.
  6. Spoon in the ground coconut paste and blend it well.
  7. Quarter the bajjis and add them.
  8. Simmer, add salt for taste.
  9. Once done, garnish with coriander leaves.
