Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Maida
• 2 cups – atta
• A pinch of salt
• 4 tbsp – Ghee
• 1 cup – Sugar
• Oil to deep fry

Method:

  1. Make a stiff dough of the flours, ghee and salt.
  2. Roll into 1 inch thick rotis and cut into small squares.
  3. Deep fry till golden.
  4. Cook sugar and water together till the syrup becomes sticky and forms threads, when taken between two fingers.
  5. Dip the squares in the syrup and leave for 5 mins.
  6. Drain and cool.
