• Rice – 3 cups
• Beaten Rice -1 cup
• Buttermilk – 5 cups
• Salt to taste
- Wash rice and beaten rice and soak this mixture in buttermilk for at least 5 hours.
- Grind this mixture to a fine paste with salt.
- Heat a tawa and spread a tsp of oil.
- Pour in a spoonful of batter on the tawa and spread it.
- Add oil to the edges if necessary.
- Turn the dosa and cook on the other side.
