Ingredients:

• 1 – Raw banana
• 1 cup – grated Coconut
• 1 cup – yogurt
• 3 – Green chillies
• 1 tbsp – Coriander seeds
• 1 tbsp -cumin seeds
• 2 tsp – Mustard Seed
• a pinch – Turmeric
• 3 to 4 – Curry leaves
• a pinch – Asafoetida
• Salt as per taste
• 1 tsp – oil

Method:

  1. Peel and chop raw bananas into 1 inch cubes. Boil in salt water until cooked.
  2. Grind coconut, cumin, coriander seeds, green chillies and a tsp mustard seeds into a smooth paste and add the paste to the cooked raw banana pieces and boil well.
  3. Remove from fire and add salt, yogurt and mix well.
  4. For seasoning, heat oil in a wok, splutter mustard seeds and add curry leaves and asafoetida.
  5. Serve.
